Baptism
Baptism is a very important step in our spiritual life. We believe it is an outward display of an inward faith. (1 Peter 3:21) Baptism means dying to our old self and having the spirit of the Lord cleanse our life to be raised in a new life with Christ (Colossians 2:12-13), after which, the Holy Spirit can fill and guide your life. (Acts 2:38) Baptism should only happen after you have accepted Jesus as Your Lord and Savior, and after you have repented from your sins and are committed to living a life in Christ.
For more questions or to sign up, please send us a message and we will reach out to you as soon as possible!
Who can be baptized?
At CCOH we will baptize anyone at any age, as long as they can profess their faith and understanding in Jesus. As for infant baptism we believe that baptism should be the choice of the person. No one can give someone else salvation; they have to choose it. We do, however, believe in infant dedication to the Lord where the parents state that they are going to raise their children in the church with the direction of God.
Child Dedication
Child Dedication is a Spiritual discipline we do at CCOH. Our church has been founded on the belief that the hope of the future depends upon the spiritual guidance of our children. CCOH encourages its members to lead children in Christian living and urges parents to present them in dedication.
